Here, you'll find answers to our most frequently asked questions about gumboot sizing, delivery, returns, order tracking, and the best ways to care for your gumboots.

How do I measure my foot?

The most accurate way to measure the length of your foot, is to place a ruler on the floor (perpendicular to the wall), place your foot on the ruler, heel against the wall. The measurement at the end of your big toe will be the length of your foot. It's advised to do so with a sock on too.

What is your returns policy?

If you are unhappy with the condition or fit of your purchase, you are welcome to contact us for a refund. The item must be sent back timeously, unworn and in its original packaging. Once received in good order, we will refund you.

How do I return my order for a refund?

Please send your return to us to the following address: 8 Church Place, Westville, 3630, or to the Pavillion Postnet. Once we have received it in good order, we will need your banking details to process your refund.

Can I exchange for a larger / smaller size?

Yes, you can exchange for a different size. Please put the unworn item back into the original packaging and send it back to us. Once we have received the item in good order, we will send the replacement to you.

Are your gumboots a snug fit?

Our tall and mid-calf gumboots do tend to be a slightly narrower fit. We usually advise our customers to take a size bigger than normal. But our chelsea size gumboots are true to size.

How long does it take for delivery of my order?

Delivery takes between 2-5 working days. 

Kindly note that deliveries are handled by external courier services, so set delivery times are unfortunately beyond our control. 

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email, alternatively, you can contact us, and we will gladly assist.

I have not received my order.

Please track your order online using the tracking number provided in the confirmation email. Or send us an email, and we will look into it for you.

May I collect from your Westville office?

Absolutely. Please place your order online, we will prepare your order for you and once ready, you may collect from 8 Church Place, Westville, Monday to Friday, from 8 am-4.30 pm.

Can I come try on gumboots in person at your Westville office?

Yes, certainly. We request that you email or call ahead to book an appointment, letting us know your preferred styles and size. That way, we can have your gumboots ready and someone available to assist you when you arrive. 

Is there any way to stretch the gumboots, especially at the top of the calf?

Unfortunately, there is no way to stretch the boot.

What sizes do you stock?

Our gumboots are available in sizes 4-9.

Do you supply men’s and children’s gumboots?

No, we do not manufacture men’s and children’s gumboots.  

How does the inside of the gumboots look?

The inside of the gumboot is lined with a soft cotton sock.

How do I know if the gumboots will fit me?

Can I purchase more inner soles?

Yes, you may purchase inner soles at R99.00 per pair

How do I clean my gumboots?

You can clean your gumboots with a multi-surface cleaner and a soft cloth.

How to care for your gumboots for many happy adventures?

Avoid Direct Sunlight: Store your gumboots indoors away from direct sunlight to prevent damage from UV rays and the PVC from getting brittle. 

Regular Cleaning: Wash your gumboots frequently using a mild detergent, such as Sunlight Liquid, especially after muddy adventures this will keep them in ship shape. 

Removing Scuffs and Marks: For light scuffs or marks, gently wipe your gumboots with a cloth and a small amount of Q20.

What are the measurements of the raincoat?

Is your raincoat waterproof or water-resistant?

Our raincoats are water-resistant and will protect you against light rain, as they are not made from plastic, and that is the only material that will be 100% waterproof. Our raincoats are made from a fabric called Pongee, which makes them more aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to wear.
